Exodus 38:21 – 40:38
The book of Exodus concludes with a detailed accounting of all the materials used in building the Tabernacle — the gold, silver, and copper donated by the people. The priestly garments are completed and brought to Moses, who inspects every element and blesses the workers. On the first day of Nisan, Moses erects the Tabernacle, places the Ark inside, sets up the furnishings, and anoints everything with sacred oil. The glory of Hashem fills the Tabernacle in a cloud, so that even Moses cannot enter — God's presence now dwells among Israel, guiding them by cloud and fire on all their journeys.
